Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ever Release (“Ever Release,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit everrelease.com and related sites (the “Sites”), use our forms and tools, join waitlists, take the Delivery Gap Assessment, purchase or use products, or engage us for professional services.
Your use of the Sites and offerings is also governed by our Terms of Service. We designed this policy to be clear and specific to how Ever Release actually operates - knowledge products, software, and delivery services - not generic filler.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information we process as a business when you:
- Browse or interact with the Sites and Resources.
- Submit contact, consultation, waitlist, or Assessment forms.
- Purchase or access ReleaseFlow Book + Operator Kit, ReleaseFlow 101, or Ever Release Project.
- Communicate with us by email or during sales and delivery conversations.
When we provide Software On Demand, Modernization, or Project Management under a customer contract, we may process personal information contained in your systems or project materials as a service provider on your instructions. In those cases, the Service Agreement and any data processing terms control, and you remain responsible for providing required notices to your own users and employees.
This policy does not cover third-party websites or tools that we do not control, even if linked from the Sites.
2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data - name, email, phone, company, job title, and message content from contact, consultation, waitlist, and Assessment forms.
- Assessment data - answers you provide in the Delivery Gap Assessment and the resulting score or summary. We use this to respond to you and improve the tool.
- Commercial data - products or services you inquire about, waitlist preferences (for example Book, Course, or Ever Release Project), and CTA/context fields that help us understand which offering you were exploring.
- Account and product data - if you create an account or use Ever Release Project, credentials, workspace settings, and content you choose to submit into the product.
- Payment data - billing details needed to process purchases. Card numbers are typically handled by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers when a processor is used.
- Technical and usage data - IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP. We may use cookies or similar technologies for site function and analytics.
- Communications - emails and meeting notes related to sales, onboarding, or delivery of services.
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the Sites, and from service providers who support email, hosting, analytics, or payments.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries, book consultations, and follow up on Assessment results.
- Operate waitlists and notify you when products such as the Book, Course, or Ever Release Project become available.
- Provide, secure, and improve the Sites, Resources, Assessment, and products.
- Process transactions and send related confirmations or invoices.
- Deliver professional services and communicate about scope, status, and outcomes.
- Send service or product updates you request or that are reasonably expected as part of a relationship (you can opt out of non-essential marketing).
- Detect abuse, secure our systems, and comply with law.
- Analyze aggregated usage to improve ReleaseFlow content and Ever Release offerings.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Assessment answers to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
- Lead and form submissions are typically retained while an inquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up and audit.
- Waitlist records are kept until the relevant product launches and for a period after, or until you ask to be removed.
- Customer and billing records are retained as required for contracts and tax law.
- Product account data is retained for the life of the account and a wind-down period after closure.
When retention ends, we delete or anonymize information where feasible.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we handle - including access controls, encrypted transport where standard, and limiting internal access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately if an incident occurs.
8. International transfers
Ever Release operates with infrastructure and vendors that may process data in Canada, the United States, or other countries. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps designed to provide appropriate protection consistent with applicable law.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and to opt out of marketing emails.
To exercise these rights, email info@everrelease.com with the subject line “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, our legal bases for processing typically include: performance of a contract or steps you request before a contract; legitimate interests in operating and improving our business and Sites (balanced against your rights); consent where required (for example certain cookies or marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined by law. We do not sell personal information as commonly understood. To submit a request, use the contact method above.
10. Children
The Sites and Offerings are directed to business professionals and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example by email or a notice on the Sites). Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
